Please join 2021's first GAPA members meetup to check out activities that GAPA is supporting this year to help us re-connect and re-animate our lives. The year of the Bull will kick us off! We also will review the proposed name change to "GLBTQ Asian Pacific Alliance" (still "GAPA").
Our Inaugural Membership Meetup is Monday, February 22 at 7:30pm. Please RSVP here so we can send you the Zoom Link a week before the meeting.
Despite the pandemic, our GAPA membership tripled in 2020. Many of the almost 250 people who experienced the 2020 Runway- Rise of the Immortals - joined as members. If you are a paid member, we thank you for joining. Please look for your 2021 membership card to arrive in the mail.
Based on input we received at our last membership meeting, the Board is committed to supporting membership activities in the following 4 tracks:
Chat group as a safe space to share life experience and stories,
Professional networking and sharing ideas about career development,
Outdoor activities to promote safe and healthy in-person gatherings, and
Virtual social events such as online gaming, celebrity guest speakers, and more.
So, join the meeting and share how you'd like to organize and participate in activities in any of the 4 tracks. Of course, GAPA will continue to support our cultural activities like Chorus, Theater, as well as our political activities.
