VANGUARD: 35th Anniversary GAPA Banquet

  • Marine's Memorial Club 609 Sutter Street San Francisco, CA, 94102 United States (map)

GAPA invites you to its 2024 Anniversary Banquet featuring a keynote by Congressman Mark Takano, the first openly gay person of color elected to the US House of Representatives. A vanguard in queer and trans Asian and Pacific Islander (QTAPI) visibility and achievement, Mark Takano stands as an inspiring example of how individual and collective accomplishments can add to the community’s wellbeing and contribute to the history we create together.

Advancing GAPA’s mission for LGBTQ APIs to be seen, heard and celebrated, the Banquet will also recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to the vitality of GAPA and the QTAPI community, as well as showcase performances featuring diverse QTAPI talents.

Join GAPA in our gala celebration! Your support will help GAPA continue our community building and advocacy through cultural activities such as chorus, dance and theater, visibility events such as participation in Pride, and community education about issues that impact our communities.
